Dr. Cantz’sche Druckerei was founded just two decades after the invention of offset printing – over 70 years ago. And thus our experience spans the gap between the era of industrialization and the present – the age of globalization.
Founded by Dr. Hugo Cantz as a small, exclusive printing firm that catered for special jobs – and led by his son Walter Cantz, a committed aficionado of art, after his retirement – the company had already laid the foundation for its long success story by the late 1960s. The international breakthrough came toward the end of the 1980s with book and catalogue productions for a number of museums in North America.
Today, Dr. Cantz’sche Druckerei has earned a reputation as a leading producer of superior print products.
